New Business Search & Business Registry filings launching on October 24

On October 24, 2022, new services are launching to the new BC Registry applications user interface and API users:

  • A new Business Search that will provide access to business information and filings for:
    • Cooperative associations, benefit companies, sole proprietorships and general partnerships (Business Search API)
    • Other entities, including corporations, will remain searchable in BC OnLine until they are modernized to this new Search at a later date
  • Registration and maintenance filings for sole proprietorships and general partnerships in the existing Business Registry (Business Registry API)

Organizations that would like to connect with the various BC Registry API services will need to build interfaces that allow clients or staff to use the data collected. Please refer to the updated API specifications available on this site.
